Emerging Leaders Kick Off Event

Join the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce's Young Professionals component as we kickoff this new and exciting program! Here at the Chamber, we define an Emerging Leader as someone who is serious about their career and working towards becoming "a leader of tomorrow." This component will offer networking opportunities, educational programming, leadership skills development, and so much more!

For the kickoff, we'll have guest speaker, Dr. Bahby Banks lead us on a session on the strategies for effective networking. In this TED talk style session, you will learn how to: 

            *Understand the fundamental characteristics of networks
            *Identify common barriers to professional networking
            *Explore key strategies to establish and nurture networks

We'll convene at the brand new BullHouse Apartments in their beautiful complex lounge overlooking their state-of-the-art saltwater pool. Come out for a few pours from, The Wine Feed and an opportunity to meet the leaders of tomorrow!
