HER Unleashed: Hard Hat Edition with Vandana Dake

Join us for the July edition of our HER Unleashed Women's Luncheon with a special behind-the-scenes look at the Golden Belt redevelopment project. We'll enjoy a catered lunch with words from Vandana Dake, Principal of Alliance Architecture followed by a hard hat tour of the project including the upcoming space for Hi-Wire Brewing. 

Vandana has traveled far and wide since her days as an architecture student in Pune, India, where she was one of just three women to graduate in her class. Come hear more about her amazing story, the work she is doing around the East Durham corridor, Golden Belt, and why she chose to make Durham home.

Parking: When arriving on the campus, drive around to the back side to the Golden Belt Arts Studio parking lot. From there, you will be able to see the construction. Park at the far end of the parking lot and lunch will take place there. Look out for Chamber signage. 


*Hard hats will be provided. Closed toe flat shoes and long pants/clothing for hot weather suggested.
